8.00pm : Out at Ridge Wharf on the River Frome some late evening sailors are not put off by the rain.



8.30pm : Along Soldiers Road from Ridge towards Furzebrook, this is the old Isolation Hospital built during the First World War.



8.15pm : This is the route of the old clay tramway from Creech to Ridge Wharf. The nearby Sunnyside Farm has recently been acquired by English Nature.



The railway track runs across Stoborough Heath and joins the main Weymouth to London line at Wareham, skirting the north-west of the Parish.



8.45pm : At BP's Furzebrook Oil Terminal, a train is about to depart with a cargo of LPG (liquified petroleum gas) from the Wytch Farm gathering station - focus of Europe's largest on-shore oilfield.
